Opening Day Boat Parade!

Saturday, May 7 the Swinomish Yacht Club will host the annual Opening Day Boat Parade on the Swinomish Channel. This year’s theme is “Hola Mexico”
Parade starts at 3:00 pm and all boaters are welcome and encouraged to participate in the annual boat parade, celebrating the beginning of the boating season

If you are interested in boating or not it is great to get out on a day like today and watch the sailboats race along Guemes Channel and south along Rosario Strait. Here are some scenes from my vantage point and the boats in the distance. Not a bad way to spend the afternoon or just an hour or two in the fresh air. I have attached a few photos.
